Our bar & restaurant is filled with classic, crafty and culinary adventures beyond the Wild Wood.

Join us for a bite to eat and a drink indoors, in our hidden outdoor area The Sunken Garden, out in the front for a spectacular view of Edinburgh Castle or for an event in our Private Events Area Toad Hall.

Expect healthy lashings of food all day, every day. Our seasonal menu showcases excellent local produce which we believe is some of the best that Scotland has to offer. 
From smaller bites and nibbles to larger pub classics with a twist, we’re sure you’ll find something you love.

CREATIVE COCKTAILS

“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about with cocktails.” – Water Rat, The Wind in the Willows, sort of.
There’s nothing we love more than coming up with a new cocktail creation. Pull up a pew, have a gander at our menu and let us know what you fancy.
We’ve also got plenty of boisterous beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks available or you to enjoy too.
 

PRIVATE EVENTS

Our private dining room has been designed to heighten any event and is the ultimate playground for adults. Discretely located in a spacious room below the bar, our private dining room can seat up to 12 guests.
